Guest Room Magic!
Consultation projects are so rewarding, because we get to see our ideas translated by homeowners. This space was extra fun, since it belongs to a dear friend and neighbor. Getting to run across the street to check paint and wallpaper samples was a great bonus!
The homeowner wanted to take guest room from drab to fab and their mission was certainly accomplished. We started with paint color and once that was decided, we turned to wallpaper. Spoonflower has a wide array of extremely creative prints. They also offer coordinating fabrics. We landed on the Boho Tropical Navy by Fineapple Pair.
This mood board was full of saturated colors pulled from the bold wallpaper. The bed frame, night stands and mirror where crafted by the homeowner’s parents and hold a sentimental place. We considered the tones in the woods when selecting our other colors. The result was better than hoped for the furniture now looks made for the space!
